Travelling in our city by bike shouldn’t be any more daunting than walking, and the success of the cycle tracks prove that this can be accomplished without causing traffic chaos or spending huge amounts of money. If you feel the same way, consider contacting your councillor and letting them know that you support even the most basic cycling network in Calgary.

Two groups investigate developing member-owned organization to support aging in community

One of the ideas explored at the recent Aging in Community workshop in Calgary was the Village model, a member-owned organization created to support older adults to age in community. There was considerable interest in taking steps towards creating such a member-owned, member-governed entity in Calgary.
